Welcome to the Revolution!
The 7th Sign is not only dedicated to producing powerful and timely plays for the NYC community, we also have a passionate mission to rejuvinate the interactive and communal aspect that should be intergral to Theatre.
What is 'Talking Theatre'?
This forum is a haven for those who wish to share their views, opinions, thoughts, criticisms, and praises for a timeless art form that is noticably taking a backseat to more passive mediums of entertainment.
The Goal
To generate discussions amongst New York Theatre audiences, producers, performers, and eventually those who are new to the Theatre. We aim to draw current non-Theatre goers to upcoming off/off-off Broadway productions, by inspiring them with the power of involvment.
What's Your Part in this Master Plan?
Simply share your views on any topic you so choose under the genre of Theatre. Why is theatre important/irrelevant? What about theatre do you love/hate? What experience inspired/repelled you from the theatre? So go ahead and start posting and replying. Be sure to check back as the discussions grow more and more involved.
What is Theatre to You?
It's a broad question...but that's a good thing. Feel free to answer the question in whatever way sates you. It's the rough brush strokes to a much longer and more specific endeavor. Most importantly, be passionate and have fun!
